HuffDuffer‘s service uses an interesting approach to get signups from it’s visitors. Instead of using the conventional sign-form with name / email / and radio buttons, HuffDuffer presents an interactive question in the form of a statement:
“I would like to use HuffDuffer. I want my username to be _______________ and I want my pasword to be _______________ . My email address is _____________ . By the way, my name is __________________ and my website is _________________ .”
After split testing this conversational approach with conventional optin forms, the increase in conversion rate was 25 – 40 % ! That’s a significant increase.
This looks like a worthwhile approach to test on your website. Let us know what results you get with it.
