If you run a blog for you small business then great, it will pay off eventually. But in case you are wondering when the traffic will start, you are not alone. It’s tough getting people to read your stuff in the beginning. If you are finding yourself nodding right now then you’ve got a few choices 1. give up 2. keep going 3. keep going and promote yourself and your blog. I’m suggesting you go with option 3.
Today I am going to give away a golden tip for promoting your small business blog. In a word – Video. I am pushing video big time at the moment, and for a couple of extremely good reasons:
1. The rate of videos been watched has risen dramatically over the past few years. Approximately 7 out of 10 internet users watch online video. Here are some current stats for the U.S.A. (I’ve referenced this article – Seven in 10 Adult Internet Users Have Watched or Downloaded Video Online ).
2. Video content gets ranked readily in search engines.
For those two reasons alone if I were you I would be figuring out how to create videos and posting them on youTube.
