Recently, I came across a great search engine optimization plugin that helps you to generate relevant internal links from within your own blog. This Internal Link Building plugin was created by SEO Whiz Gabriel Goldenberg at SEO ROI blog.
What Do You Need?
First of all you need a wordpress blog, and if you are going to install a wordpress blog then you had better install Thesis Theme for wordpress as well (that’s an affiliate link by the way – meaning that I get a commission if you buy Thesis, but if that offends you just copy and paste this into your browser http://diythemes.com/ ). Thesis is the best framework with the best inbuild seo settings for wordpress that has ever been created, and there are so many benefits that I will have to create a separate post on the topic.
How Does It Work?
But I digress; the plugin works wonders on your wordpress blog because it takes a list of keywords that you give it, and then you tell the plugin which pages or posts that you want to target with specific keywords. Then it will go into all of your pages (you can exclude certain pages if you like), and will dynamically create anchor text with backlinks to your desired pages for you.
This plugin will work amazingly well if you have loads of posts or pages already on your site. However, if you only have 5 posts on your site then you had better get active and create some more content.
*** Oh and by the way this technique is completely ‘white hat’ (meaning there are no negative repercussions) – Wikipedia uses a similar technique themselves to get massive authority and relevancy on certain keyword terms.

Wynne, thanks for sharing this info about the internal links plugin.
I'm always looking for ways to boost readership and search engine optimization.
Hey John, you're welcome. I'm still currently setting up this plugin on this blog as we speak. I'm going to do a followup on this one at some point once I have some stats or something, but I'd be interested to see what you think of it when (if) you install it.
