<p>One of the challenges they face is to keep the simplicity of use of it&#8217;s application. If they make it too complex then they risk alienating die hard fans.</p>
<p><em><strong>Some of the changes include:</strong></em></p>
<ol>
<li>an in-house url shortening service</li>
<li>a feature that shows number of followers online</li>
<li>a drop down list of categories for easier account following applications</li>
<li>improved keyword search (presumably to coincide with the launch of their advertising platform).</li>
</ol>
